This has been a very busy time for the Marae and Ngati Pahauwera with the AIP signing in the big smoke after a long succession of meetings throughout the country.

At the moment our water line is being revamped with assistance from the Ministry of Health, they have replaced our bore pump, given us 3 lovely new water tanks up at the Marae, and are about to install a water filter system, which means we will be drinking clean healthy water, and lots of it,it also means we shouldn't be running out of water in the middle of a hui ever again, not that that happened very often.  We look forward to this project being completed very shortly.

 A big thank you to Marjorie who brings along a very willing group of workers once a week, weather permitting to help clean up, gardens, fence lines etc, helps to keep our Marae spik and span.
