My name is Paula my maiden name Rewi, my mums grandfather is from Ruatahuna his name is Nga Uri Tawhara his dad was Kahu-o-rangi, my mum has told me stories of the old people of her time one name she has mentioned is kirihou they called her Aunty kitty. On behalf of my mum I would like to acknowledge her as part of this marae although she has not spoken of it her ties are back at Te Whaiti.

kiaora my name is jeavanie teka.my mothers name is moewaka teka(eldest living daughter of mary edwards and kirikirirangihau teka) and my fathers name is mack wairau(nee morehu)(youngest son of pare rarere and mack mahaki morehu.i am proud to be a mist child (haha), thats such a cool label. my mumzi always tells me stories of life in ruatahuna and i havent been there since i was 4 or 5 (wot a shock).....i wanna thank my koro and my mum for passing me the singing gene, its a treasure that only i own and i dont know where i would be if i didnt have it.wassup to my cousins if you see my holla, i miss yous (especially my lil cousin ngamihi aka dalla te kaawa),i cant wait to see youz again!! fingers crossed that i get to have y 21st back home as it will be the first eva birthday i have celebrated in ruatahuna. but if not ill be knocking on ya doors haha!!
