Te Rangihouhiri is currently developing an hapu registration database. Our drive is to register as many of our Ngai Tamawhariua descendants, from our kuia and kaumatua, to all our tamariki. Please do your best to fill in as much of the form as you can. If you have any problems with any part of the form or need assistance with it you can either e-mail us or ring us at the numbers given below and we will contact you personally to discuss the form. The main aims of this database are:
1. Whakapapa - Whakapapa has always been an integral part of Maori and who we are. We want to maintain whakapapa links with all descendants of Ngai Te Rangi Iwi.
2. Communication - Te Rangihouhiri aims to enhance communication with all its descendants ensuring they are kept informed and aware of any issues, events, and operations pertaining to Te Rangihouhiri Marae.
3. Mandates – The database will enable Te Rangihouhiri komiti to contact you when important hui seeking iwi support and mandates are to be held.
