Kiaora Whanau
Over the weekend that I was visiting Christchurch, I made an effort to trace and make contact with our extended whanau, one of those families, was the family of Mohi Tarawhiti. I managed to speak to George Tarawhiti a son of Ross Tarawhiti, unfortunately the Tarawhiti family living in Christchurch have been living away from home for such a long time that they have lost touch with their family links and history, this was very evident when speaking with George, hence why I encourage all descendants of Heta, Karaka or Hokioi to keep in contact with your marae or read through this site.
