Welcome to Taumata o te rā marae online. This website has been developed to help keep whānau of Ngāti Manomano in touch with what is happening on our marae.
Wāhi Tapu wānanga at Tokorangi
We have just completed the first wānanga of 'ngā wāhi tapu - the sacred places' for Te Reureu. It was a fantastic opportunity to listen to the korero and stories of various whānau about the historical sites in the Tokorangi valley.

There will be more wānanga to come. We will keep you informed of future events both at Taumata o te rā and in the valley. Whānau Memories

This photo was taken at the marae before Koro Tūwhatu moved from his kaumātua flat to be with his whānau in Auckland.
Pictured are Koro Tūwhatu's whānau and other members of the hapū who were at the marae to farewell them on their journey to Auckland.
