Our paetukutuku is about re-establishing, strengthening, nurturing and increasing our ability to express our whanaungatanga - by linking us directly to our Marae and to each other from wherever we may be living in the world.
 

This is our turangawaewae.  No matter how far away we wander, we will always belong here.  We are Tangata Whenua - People of This Land.

Simply type Pukehina Marae into your Search Engine Search box.  Adding it to Favourites is good too but you may not bring up the latest changes to the site each time you access it.  Remember to delete your browsing history regularly.  (See Tools at top right.)

Have you considered creating educational and fun resources about Pukehina for our tamariki page?  We're looking for te reo, themes, puzzles, crafts, recipes, colouring pages, science and and all to do with our unique Ngati Whakahemo culture, lifestyle and location.  If this is a bit of you...let us know.

October 2008 Stats

We had 533 visits to our Home Page in September, 2008.  Not long now and we will be putting the word out to the whanau.  We just need to set up the site first and find a home for everything.  Keep thinking about what you might like to contribute or let the Marae Committee know if you are interested in being Content Manager for the site.
