While celebrating the Affiliate Te Arawa Iwi and Hapu Claims Settlement, the CNI Forests Land Collective Settlement bill also passed into law unopposed today (Thu 25 Sept 2008).
The collective is made up of Ngai Tuhoe, Ngati Tuwharetoa, Ngati Whakaue, Ngati Whare, Ngati Manawa, Raukawa and the Affiliate Te Arawa Iwi and Hapu.
