Kia ora e te whanau! It has been confirmed that "Te Whanau ki Waenganui Games" i.e. the Te Awamutu Pa Wars will be resurrected the weekend of 21-22 November 2009. Get on board and join in the fun... the sporting disciplines that will be contested during the weekend are:
Slowpitch, Golf, Netball, Tennis, Indoor Bowls, Kapahaka, Tug-o-war, Volleyball, Touch and Relay Race.
The tamariki will play a variety of games - most similar to what the adults are doing but on a smaller scale.
