Welcome to
Motatau Marae

Nau Mai, Haere Mai ki Motatau Marae!

During the week we will have Content Managers trained and you will begin to see the site evolve as it becomes personalised to our Motatau Marae whanau.

We can now:

Link whanau directly back to Motatau;

Connect to our whanau - worldwide;

Re-establish, strengthen, nuture and increase the capabilities of our whanau to express their kinship;

Link back to Ngati Hine from wherever we may be living in the world today.

Keep up with whanau news from home and abroad;

Our whanau can get to know and support their hau kainga and the important roles and responsibilites that they carry out on our behalf;

Develop our website so that it is a dynamic and living site (always being added to);

Show location, significant landmark and whenua location;

Increase awareness and support for Marae management ;

Present our own histories;

Manage our own secure sound and video files for waiata tawhito and korero;

Requests for Marae Bookings can be done on-line.

We can have a Virtual Tour of our Marae;

Quick Tangihanga notifications, sending flowers, and koha payments;

Kaumatua Spotlights;

Have an Events Calendar;

Give the whanau and whanau whanui the opportunity to support Motatau Marae based initiatives, as well as whanau businesses;

Take advantage of the new innovations and upgrades that are happening all the time for Naumaiplace Websites.

In fact, we will all be able to share what ever we want with each other...the site is ours!

 (This is a temporary posting...wait for the real Motatau Marae content - coming soon!)
