Please! Help support your marae maintenance and development.
The marae is a special place for every whanau who whakapapa to it. To maintain and develop the facilities so that they are useful, attractive, in working order and safe we need the support of all the whanau affiliated to Mokoroa.
We want to encourage every person with whakapapa to the marae to contribute a little bit toward its up-keep and development. At present we only have a few individuals who make regular automatic payments into the marae account. If only one in every ten people who whakapapa to Mokoroa were to contribute just $1 per week ($52/year) our marae would look awesome!
Please consider making a regular koha by starting an Automatic Payment so that you can feel like you are making a real contribution to it even if you live far away. This place is the home of your tupuna and we need to look after it.
All the marae accounts are available for inspection at any time by a member of the whanau and we will endevour to put a copy of the annual accounts on the website so you can see where the funds are going.

To start an AP, just use the following information - you can set it up online if you have internet banking, otherwise you will need to take the information into your bank or do it over the phone with them. Koha to the marae will soon be tax-deductible.

The marae committee have set some goals for increasing this number so that there is a regular income for the marae for repairs, maintenance and developments of the buildings, driveways and landscaping.
