Do you have a baby 0-6 months, or are you expecting a pepi in 2009?

If the answer is 'Ae' then enrol yourself and your pepi on the tribal register and be in the running to win a 'Pepi Pack' which features a specially designed Tainui teenie tee, and resources carefully chosen for mum and baby.

Tribal Development Officer Johnie Davis says her unit is trying to encourage whānau to register their tamariki with the tribe, especially their new pepi.

"It's about encouraging our people to connect their babies to their Marae, hapū and iwi," said Johnie.

"Links to the wider whānau makes for positive social determinants of health. It means our babies grow up with a greater sense of self and cultural wellbeing.
